What oils should you use with your Gua Sha?

This week is about my favourite two things. Oils & skin tools. When using any kind of skin tool you should be using an oil to help that skin tool work and reduce irritation, especially a Gua Sha. Gua Sha is a very special type of skin tool. Not only does it have amazing external benefits for the skin, depending on what it’s made from it can have internal therapeutic benefits too.

Now lets get into what the best kind of oils work best when using your Gua Sha. Personally I prefer using oils that absorb slowly, but don’t make you greasy. Oils like Jojoba oil and Rosehip oil.

Why do I say Jojoba Oil?

Jojoba oil is one of my favourite oils, I would go so far as to say, favourite oil EVER. It’s soothing, nourishing, hydrating, calming, anti-inflammatory AND anti ageing! Not only that, it makes the perfect pair with any skin tools but especially Gua Sha.

Why do I say Rosehip oil?

Rosehip oil is another oil that I think it AMAZING! Some of the things I love about it include it being FULL with antioxidants as well as full of fatty acids. It’s another great one to use along side skin tools including Gua Sha.
