The importance of taking care of your body: How to take care of your body from the inside out.

It’s no secret that I am a huge advocate for body care. But that doesn’t just mean taking care of the appearance of your body. It means supporting and nourishing it from the inside out.

The benefits of taking care of your body can be endless, but some come in the form of emotional well-being, better physical and mental health. Research suggests self-care promotes positive health outcomes, such as fostering resilience, living longer, and becoming better equipped to manage stress.

Not having a healthy body care can poorly effect how you are able to manage stress and deal with other situations in your life.

Getting enough sleep and giving your body the rest and time it needs to reset is really important. Which is why I wanted to create body care products that not only make your skin look healthy, but also impact your health and provide therapeutic benefits too.

So what are some ways to look after your body from the inside out?

Making sure you are feeding your body with a healthy diet, consuming your 5 a day and eating what I call ‘ happy food ‘

Fermented foods

Bananas

Dark chocolate

Oats

Berries

Nuts and seeds

Nourishing your body from the inside out, these foods can help boost your mood and give you energy.

Here’s some ways to look after your body

Regular exfoliation ( 2-3 times a week)

Using natural, nourishing ingredients

Doing regular body massage (you can do this on yourself)

Lymphatic drainage (you can do this on yourself)

A great way to start showing your body some love is with The Butter Bundle :

It will give your skin the hydration and nourishment it needs whilst also removing dead skin cells and revealing a healthy, smooth glow.

Another thing I like to do to show my body some love is to move it, movement is a great way to help promote lymphatic drainage and also stay active. Instead of using the lift or parking close to the supermarket, why not try taking the stairs or parking a little further so you are able to move your body.

So what do you say, will you be showing your body some love this week?
